The Carers @ Home Support Workshop is a free one day workshop for unpaid carers, caring for a loved one or friend with a life-limiting illness or serious chronic illness in the home. The objective is to provide support, education, and skills for unpaid home carers that aid in their caring abilities and help their loved one remain at home longer. The workshop is taught by qualified registered nurses, trainers and professional counsellors is totally free and includes lunch. There are a limited number of workshop places available enabling us to provide you with a personalised experience.

- How to Deal with Stress and Workloads
- Diet and Nutrition Advice
- Advanced Care Planning
- Overview of Services Available to You
- Self-Care Strategies for the Home Carer
Free Onsite Respite Services for Those Attending our Workshop
Attendees have the option to have their loved one cared for in our Living Well Respite Centre whilst attending the Carers @ Home Support Workshop. This will enable carers to attend the workshop whilst their loved one is being cared for onsite. Our respite service is totally free of charge if you have a loved one in your care, who is over the age of 18 with a life-limiting illness or serious chronic illness. Your loved ones care needs must be discussed with our respite manager to ensure our respite services are suitable.
